You know, I probably wouldn't have quite the lack of free time I always complain about if I didn't spend about 2 hours at dinner every night. But....it's just perfect somehow. Between finding out that people watched the same obscure kids' shows that you did, and, yes, they are willing to break into the theme song in the middle of the cafeteria....and how the snow makes you want to ride horses through an enchanted forest wearing a cape...and arguing over whether it will set off the fire alarm if you set the grammatical abomination of an advertisement they put on the tables on fire....and somewhere along the way I think "what if I hadn't decided on this college?" and I almost want to cry to think that I could have missed this.
And then walking back, the snowflakes were so big that you could see their shadows flitting through the sparkles in the dim light from building windows and it was absolutely gorgeous.
