Chaos
So, I went and saw Mute Math last night. Its exactly what I needed to cheer me up, since I got into another argument with my mom before she left. Anyway, Mute Math has to be my favorite band to see live. It was to the point that I was considering going to the next show tonight again, which I think maybe in Tampa. I was only bummed because I wanted to borrow my mom's video camera for the show, but I forgot to take it with me. I'll load of some pictures that Miranda and I took at the show later. Maybe even some video clips if LJ will let me. So, Paul Meany is the lead singer and his voice sounds like a mix between Bono(U2) and Sting. if you know me, you know I absolutely ADORE Sting's voice. Ever since I was little, I love Sting, as well as U2, but moreso Sting. I grew up listening to him and The Police. Instrumentally, they're different. I bought their new full length cd last night, it has the song Chaos on it, which makes me uber happy because their ep I bought at the show back in November didn't have it. Thing is, as great as their cd is, they are 50x better live. I would buy a live cd or dvd in a heartbeat. I promise you won't be disappointed if you see them live... unless you don't like bands like Coldplay and U2 or Sting, of course. I'm listening to the cd right now, and of course I started with "Chaos". Its a very uplifting song to me too. Its the first thing I've listened to all day, and it has put me in a really good mood. Despite the fact that my hearing is shit right now. That has to have been the loudest show I have ever been to. My ears are still ringing... And I'm going back to the Social for Reggie & the Full Effect on wednesday. I need to get earplugs between now and then!
So yeah, go listen to Mute Math. That's an order!
