(DAY THIRTEEN: Worship that pleases God.)
QUESTION TO CONSIDER:
Which is more pleasing to God right now - my public worship or my private worship? What will I do about this?
--------------------------
I believe my public worship is more pleasing to God at the moment because I have made continuous efforts to my constantly mindful of his presence and his intent. I have spoken openly and freely of my faith and trust in God, my love for Jesus Christ, and my thankfulness for the many blessings I've been given.
My private worship, however, has been lacking. I have not set aside personal deveotional time for prayer and reflection. I've been praying with Aimee, following the Purpose Drive Life as a daily devotional, and reflecting on the questions therein on a day-to-day basis, yet I have not been consistant in my private worship. Understanding the many different ways to worship, I will set aside time each morning, day, and night for prayer, worship Him through song, and recognize His presence in all of the things around me, from the beauty of nature, to the joy of a friend's company, to the innocense of the children I work with. All lifted up in His glory.
