(DAY SIXTEEN: What matters most.)
QUESTION TO CONSIDER:
Honestly, are relationships my first priority? How can I ensure that they are?
--------------------------
I need to get my relationship priorities in order. Aimee and I have a solid foundation, but I could certainly stand to devote more time to improving the relationship I have with my family, Aimee's family, and our friends, both individual and mutual. I remain in contact with everyone, sending updates every now and then and always being courteous when we meet, but I don't feel as though I have many close friends outside of Aimee, especially not to any beleivers. I am also in a transition period, settling into a church, growing closer to my and Aimee's family, and understanding where I am as a man of Christ.
Keeping all of this in mind, however, I do want to be more mindful of my relationships with others and I will try harder to build closer relationships with the people around me. Of course, I can ensure these relationships are my first priority by being more outward with others, more considerate of what is going on in their lives, and more open about my faith and willing to grow closer to others through my faith.
God has a great plan for me. I am continuing to trust in Him, as he reveals his many blessings in my life.
