Dear LJ friends,
I want to take this opportunity to wish you the very best the holiday season has to offer: Merry Christmas from Sandy, Kate and I to you and yours! If, for whatever reason, you will not be joining us in celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ tomorrow, then we pray that you will experience every blessing of whatever holiday(s) you do celebrate at this time of year. Regardless of our differences, may you experience in the new year all the joy, peace and blessing that your world can hold. Several years ago, Sandy and I wrote a musical Christmas card with which we have since always closed our holiday programs:
May the spirit of Christmas warm your hearts today.
May the love born in a manger light your way.
May the joy of Christmas morning touch you once again,
And as a new year's light is dawning,
May the hope for which we're longing
Be fulfilled in peace on earth, good will to men.
