Loving Christmas this year!

Life is good again. I mean, the past few years, I've barely felt like celebrating the holidays at all. This year, I can't get enough Christmas carols and egg nog! I know it's because of my future shining so brightly, and I almost feel shallow and superficial -- I mean, why can't I be blissfully happy even when life isn't going my way? -- but not quite. I've just got good reason to be happy, and I'm going to enjoy it while it lasts, which hopefully will be for a very long time!

Got my press release approved by the theatre so I can send it out now. It is so exciting to be able to announce to the world that God is doing great things in my life! Yea!

Busy weekend ahead. Paying bills today -- gotta get to it! -- and speech practice after school, then I'm taking The Beautiful One out for dinner before we go over to Giffey Hall in Ridgeville Corners to be the dinner & pre-show entertainment for ACT's production of House for Sale. We get comp tickets to see the show when we're done, so it's a fun, inexpensive, Christmassy sort of evening. Tomorrow is a HUGE speech tournament in Perrysburg -- hoping for a good showing from the team -- but we don't get back in time to take in fancy1's party Saturday night. *pout* Have a great time, everyone!

Sunday, after church, we're planning to meet my parents in Bryan for lunch, and then we're driving to Hicksville to begin recording our first CD! It's going to be a bunch of our hymn arrangements because, with the exception of one of them, they're all our own, and the hymns are all in public domain so we don't have to worry about copyright issues. People have been asking us to put together an album for years, and if we don't do it now, I doubt we'll have as much opportunity with our next job, at least not for our own work. We found a friend of a friend of a friend who has a project studio, a bunch of pro equipment, and the desire only to do projects that excite him, and he's giving us a great deal! We are really excited. We hope to have it ready for our farewell concert on 1/20/06. Yea!

Will keep you posted, but not before we've finished the project... or the post... ;^) Have a great day, everyone!
