Should be in bed, write instead.

Lisa and I had a great phone call yesterday. I am very glad that she was the one approaching me and not Sheep. After all, Sheep was the one who said it doesn't count that I have the Olympics on my schedule on the day she came up with for my friend the actress's party. Lisa was understanding and told me that it's perfectly OK to say no when being asked. Besides, that's my vacation, and nobody would bat an eye if I were abroad instead. Her words.
It also turns out that Lisa isn't too happy with the date, either, because the school holidays mean lots of organizing and stress for her as well. She, too, had been looking forward to something in September.
Oh, and they already spoke to our friend, who said she would in principle let them crash in her living-room, BUT she wouldn't go home after the party, so that wouldn't really work.
In other words: Sheep, you brought that onto yourself. You wanted that date, you pay for it.

I have three weeks left for my gift now. An idea had formed in my head which involved an AI design, so I worked a bit on that after the call yesterday. It didn't take me long to realize that AI isn't as great and easy as they try to tell you. Without any experience, but with a certain time pressure, my idea cannot be realized. The results were so funny that I'll try to make something out of that, though. From the beginning, my idea was to have it printed on a sweater, so now the next struggle is to design a printable version, find a good-quality shop (I meant to use Spreadshirt, but there are just too many bad reviews mentioning that the products smell real bad at first and that the print wore off after just a few washes - that would totally suck), and have it delivered in time.

At least I can leave my apartment in a mess while I work on that, thanks to Lisa. I have until Wednesday - at most!
