I'm actually busy trying to catch up with everything that happened TV-wise since last Friday (shows, figure skating, more shows, movies ... well, movies later) because I was occupied with other things because I had Sunny over for an almost-five-day vacation. Yay! Well, truth be told, I wasn't sure what it would be like because we've never really spent much time together and I quickly realized that I don't really know too much about her habits. I think we complemented each other really well, though, and so we spent a few days doing lots of sightseeing and other fun stuff (I finally got to see my first 3D movie - yes, I know, it's taken until now). I don't really have to mention that I was badly in need of some time off from work, do I? Funnily, I didn't do anything for work in all these days even though the timing for my absence couldn't have been worse (the magazine issue wasn't completed yet, and there were/are so many tricky things to tackle these days) and I had been sure that there would be no way around working at least a bit every now and then. Well, I'll have my share of the mess soon enough. :0P
Anyway, what I came here for. Really, this world is unbelievable. Our trips this week resulted in an abundance of pics, out of which I uploaded a few (or a few more) each day. To Facebook. And one of my college friends liked the album (I assume it was the bunch of pics from Madame Tussauds, because I didn't hesitate to make a complete fool of myself whenever an opportunity presented itself - gosh, I really rocked, can't deny it :0P ), which was a nice surprise because she usually doesn't react to my posts. In other words, we don't interact (she very rarely posts stuff anyway - or I can't see them), which is sad because she's a lovely woman. But anyway, seeing her name made me visit her page, and I had the sudden idea to check whether she's friends with a guy we had some classes with. Someone I kinda liked. A bit. :0P She sure is (they had way more classes together and even worked on projects together, I think), so I clicked on his profile to ... see what there is to see. Which wasn't much altogether. But there was an event entry for a class reunion which I randomly checked out.
HE WENT TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH ONE OF THE PROFESSIONAL LET'S DANCE DANCERS. WTF. I saw her name there where she was like, "Great, count me in." I see it was shortly before she joined Let's Dance. But still. As so often, I tend to reveal the strangest connections.
I totally should have become an investigator. Dang it. Wrong career path. :0P
