Trojans SUCK!!!
Hooray, when I boot my computer, I have to click away roughly 70 virus warnings. Ugh. Totally what I was looking for these days. I had kinda planned to go to the MMB today since it's, like, the best day for that. First of all, my mom was REALLY low yesterday because of her new job, and this would have been a good chance to get away from her for a while. I have no clue what she'll be like when she gets home in about an hour. Secondly, next week it's time for Worlds, so I won't really drop that in favor of a library! :0P Tomorrow, my mom's friends will be here, and I'll have to help her some. I guess I'll spend the time while she's at work vacuuming or something. No library. I'm not too fond of wasting my weekend for that, either, so that leaves Monday. We'll see.
Anyway, I figured it's no use taking my laptop to the library if all I can do there is click away virus warnings! All for the same file, BTW. It's an important DLL file, too, so I just downloaded it again and renamed the old one (since it can't really be deleted, it seems) and hope that did the trick. So far, all is pretty calm. I'm doing another virus scan and hope that I'll be able to focus on my thesis again afterwards.
It also looks like I've exchanged my "let's write a paper" music to some variety. :0) You know, I've made it a habit to listen to the same song over and over again whenever I write a paper. Only every once in a while, I would pause to listen to 2 specific other songs before I returned to that one for another 70 times. Now I'm listening to a CD November got me for my b-day. :0) It's really working, which I find surprising!
Also, I can't believe what a Wednesday that was in Whistler!
3x gold, 1x silver, 2x bronze for Germany! OMG, how crazy is that? :0D
Plus, The Vampire Diaries ep was really cool. I'm giving it a thumbs up. It's funny how the preview made me go, "Ugh, not that love crap." Because I love love crap, you know. LOL Somehow this show is more about the exciting mysteries, the surprises and, yay!, superpowers for me. :0) So when they go "let's all strip down and reveal our heart and soul," I'm going urgh. LOL OK, I won't complain, I'm sure I'll appreciate it next week. Double ep! :0D
PS: "Winter Song" is so my favorite song ATM! Although it's obviously turning spring.
