Ok, now let's talk about obsession. Being so obsessed with someone that it becomes love. Now let's talk about love, loving someone so much that you hate them once you realize that they've never liked you. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. Hate and love are pure obsession, on slightly different wavelengths. It's like flipping a quarter in the air, you get a different side each time. Indifference is bills, the complete opposite of money. Indifference consumes hate and love. That's why when ever friendship ends and you really want to get to someone, you can't hate them. They thrive on the attention. You just don't care. Once they cease to exist in your world they are nothing. They have been beaten, they are done. They've lost part of their life force. No one likes to become nothing, hate or love is better because it brings pride to the human arrogance of being obsessed over. Just ignore.
