Okay yesterday I was driving home and there was this stream of traffic, and this guy was trying to get into the line of traffic because he was leaving from some store. So I, being the nice, wonderful person that I am, let him in. Not only does he not even ACKNOWLEDGE my huge favor, (I'm not even graced with the wave or the head-nod) but he makes the light and I don't. And it was a long light. I was pissed. I was with Lorena and Cianna when that happened and they were like "Oh don't worry, it's Karma- it's good for you" or some BS and I was like okay whatev. So that brings me to my next long, boring story:
Later that day I was at Albertson's and I had just bought a whole bunch of stuff and as I was trying to get my wallet back into my purse while pushing my full cart, I realised I couldn't do it without stopping to readjust. So I stopped, and I ended up just setting my purse in the part of the cart where the kid can sit, like in the front. So it was in there and then I made the long walk to the car (I parked kind of far away) and when I got to my car, I reached into the cart where I left my purse but it wasn't there. I started freaking out like a crazy person and immediately totaled the amount of shit in that bag- $400 for the phone, $250 in cash, ATM card, Mastercard, $150 for the purse itself, and other shit in my wallet that I wasn't thrilled about losing. When ALL OF A SUDDEN, seriously out of nowhere, this little girl about 8? 7? years old runs up, HOLDING MY PURSE, and goes "Excuse me?" And I almost cried- like, you have no idea. I was like "OH MY GOD. THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH." And she was like "You're welcome!" In that cute cheery voice that little kids have. And then she ran off.
It's weird how things happen. I kind of want to believe those two things are related, like my good "karma" led me to having a lost purse in the middle of a parking lot returned by a cheery little girl. Maybe?
