(no subject)
Today was a nice day, I liked having all that extra time this morning. Now I'm pretty tired, but it was worth it. I'm going to try and get up earlier more often. If my body can comfortably go a whole night without sleep, I must be getting too much sleep or something. (You know how you're even more tired when you sleep über-late?) And I definitely had recently woken up at 2 in the afternoon once, a few days ago. I'll be getting up at 8-ish tomorrow, because the boyfriend and I are going places, yay. I do love spending time with him.
So that's about it. I did some laundry, cleaned a bit, played a bit of piano, you know. Oh! I got fingering charts for flute up to high A flat, with a questionable B flat. :) That's insanely cool, considering that's 8 or 9 notes higher than most books list fingerings for. I could only play up to F, but I'll work on it. We're supposed to be getting marching band music soon, I'm eager as we're going to be playing "Pirates of the Caribbean" music. (You know you're jealous.) We played a medley with the Symphonic Band in the spring, and it went over well. I'm excited because we're getting a heck of a lot of freshman flutes, and I'll be an upperclassman, yay.

We're probably going to Myrtle Beach for the band trip this spring, which annoys me. This will be some people's 3rd time going in 4 years. Last spring we went to Cleveland, which was fun. Toronto was an option for this year, but some of the other girls got together and were all "I want to tan and look at cute boys". Well, while there could be good-looking guys at the beach, we definitely have a beach about 2 hours away they could drive to. We don't have a Canada two hours away. I want to be able to say I've been to another country.
I'm done with my little rant.
