yesterday, muchly shopping got done. or, to be more accurate, muchly looking at things and discarding most of them got done. visited two malls and a craft store and walked out having only made three purchases not counting the large cup of tea i bought shortly before we left the first mall. my voice is only stable with the assistance of hot

is the passport going to be ready in time? i know they used to say 60 days though they would come a little sooner of course. but they always said 60 days just in case... just fyi.

yes, believe me, i know. we paid through the nose to have a Rush put on it. should be about 10 days. *laughs* in fact, the woman who waited on me gave me a worried look and said "you know you gotta put a ten-day rush on this, don't you, sweetie?" and i said yes, all embarrassed. *sheepish*

ah ok... and yeah it costs a lot to have it rushed. but better than waiting on your hands wondering if it gets there in time! :) cool beans...

yeah... the back-up plan had been (if we hadn't gotten the concert tickets) to go ahead and order the passport anyway as usual, and go to Japan in the spring. plenty of time, then! but no, we got concert tickets. *bounces*
