survived!
last day of go-live training. thank the Goddess. i'm typing this at work. forgive me for rambling. i'm just tired. it's been a long two months. i'm sick of it. it was so tempting to call in this morning, but i figured, i made it this far, i'd make it through the last day. spent part of the morning in a meeting with my sup. she's really cool, i like her. she cares about whether or not her reps have the information they need. that matters to me. now i'm sitting and waiting for calls to come in. got some suttf to print, screen shots. hope i can get it to work. i've never managed to print a screen shot before.
this full-time thing is just really getting to me. i know i can do this job, but i also know i could not do it full-time. i would kill myself, or get rude with customers. i know i'm new and that might change, but right now... it is a relief to know that after this my hours will go way down, free time will return to me, and i will have enough time to decompress before having to come back. i suppose it's not so great a way to think about things, but i do know myself. i'm just being honest.
i got things printed, just not the way i was instructed to. it still counts, right?
getting edgy about the doll i've got on hold. want to just outright BUY it, but i know i can't do that. or at least, i can't do that right now. not really. so i won't. i'll just fidget and hope for measurements so i can make him pants.
ugh, hungry. need to wait a little longer to eat, though. not feeling that great today, either.
12:45pm -- SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! angel's boys arrived!! *does little dances* she brought them to my work so i could photograph the box opening. their face-ups are incredible. so very gorgeous! they're both kind of loosely strung, but when they get sueded, we can take care of that. we'll just tighten the elastic a little. the grippiness of the suede will help, too.
gah, now i REALLY want to just go and buy the Rasendo outright! (sorry, Kaoru!! i know i'm spending a lot of time on you, but you're not really one of my boys...) i want to bring Tamsin home!
bleh, must go get ready for ANOTHER meeting. more later.
1:15pm -- okay, so it wasn't much of a meeting. Sabrina complimented us and we got neat stirry mug things. that was cool. now i'm back on the phones.
2:25pm -- want to go hooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooome. wish i knew if we were meeting at 4 today or not. think i'm gonna go down anyway, just because. tired. kinda hungry. just wanna go home and see angel's new boys. i hope Sterling's wig arrives soon. i want to see how he looks more like himself, although the Sha wig is nice.
