And I'm not really sure if anything will come of it.
As to be expected of a doctor's office, I waited for a good hour and a half before being seen. (Fortunately, I learned this leasson long ago and had Howl's Moving Castle to help me cope.) Once they did call me, though, the doctor was in and out before I could fully process anything she really said. I was simply handed a form and told to go to the lab to have some bloodwork done. Oh, and there was something about going to see a neurologist. (Yay! I might get to have my brained scanned because there might be something wrong with it. That sounds like fun! ... Not.) There were also some other things that she suggested that were *very rare* (like a naturally sleepy brain?) and might be possiblities. (Just my luck.) And of course if that was the case, she couldn't do much to help me until she ruled out that it's not other, more common things.
And so the caucaus race begins. (Reference to Alice and Wonderland there for those who didn't know.) I have a feeling I'll be running around for the next couple of weeks doing all kinds of lovely tests, all the while trying to balance school. (Speaking of which I had to miss/skip my first class today because I was so damn tired, I couldn't make it to 11:00 am without needing more sleep.)
So all and all, I have no idea what my next step will be until the doctor calls me back with lab results and gives me appointments with certain *specialists.* Meanwhile, I will do my best not to go to sleep again until a decent hour tonight as well as do a little homework.
On a lighter note though, it's strangely exhilirating (sp?) to watch your on blood squirt into a tube with as much pressure as a bad B movie, even if it's in a much smaller stream than the *cinematic* version. ^_^
