Today I am driving a loaner car that I got from the VW place while mine is in the shop. My car needed to get its cadiletic convertor replaced. The loaner car is an 04 Jetta. It is fun to drive.Fortunately all the work is covered by waranty, so I don't have to pay a dime.

Right now I am watching the HBO show "Rome." We have on demand, so we can watch the whole series any time we want.

I can't really remember everything that has gone on in the past mionth since I have updated my journal, but I will try to recap it for all of you.

I am working at Home Depot here in Burnsville. I work in the kitchen/bath/appliances department. I like it there. Right now I am only doing part time, but they want me to do full time until I go to school in January. Katie just got hired at Home Depot as well. She will be working at Express at the Mall of America until the 16th. She doesn't like her job. It is too much work for too little pay, and the only way she will get anymore cash will be if she gets promoted, which won't be anytime soon, since she is new. Also, they won't give her as many hours as she wants. There are also a bunch of people there that are against the war that work there, and she doesn't want to sit there and listen to them talk about a subject in which they are very ignorant. She is excited to start at Home Depot.

We saw the movie "Jarhead" on Monday night. It was a good movie. I think that all the people that are anti-war should see it, so they can get just a little idea of why we are in Iraq. Maybe they will change their minds about it once they see what kinda stuff went on under the rule of Saddam. I personally don't understand how anyone can be against the war. My question to them is, "So you are for Saddam killing his own people then?" Of course nobody will admit to being for that, but they can never back up their opinions. In my opinion, the general public doesn't know anything about Iraq. It is a crime against humanity for us to not be there. If I lived under a tyrant like Saddam, I would pray everyday with all my heart for someone like the US to come and free me. I hate when anti-war people try to tell me that they know about Iraq.

Last month, Katie and I had our 6 month. We both had to work on the day, so we calebrated it the next day. Like usual, I had a surprise planned for her. I woke up early, and went to Target. I got a picnic basket and a blanket. I then went to Cub where I bought chocolate cake, Siera Mist, and Strawberries. While Katie was still getting ready, I went to Panda Express, and got a big thing of Orange Chicken, fried rice, and cream cheese won tons. When I got back with the food, Katie was ready to go. There is a little park near the apartment, and I took her there. She had no idea what was going on. We had our little chinese food picnic. Katie said that it was the best date ever. I am such a stud. I have many more times to prove it too.
