Here's a Teaser
since most of you folks seemed to be interested in the Jazz/Marissa pair, i finally started typing up what i have, so to tease please you all, here's a small snippet...
“You really get a kick out of picking me up, don’t you?”
First time on the entire mission he’d had nothing smart to say in response.
Why had she flirted with him anyway? They had been living a horror movie, as she had said, so why even make the comment when all he had been doing was lifting her up to keep her out of harm’s way. Did she really think he’d done it because he had feelings for her? Had that been her own hidden confession, of sorts, cleverly disguised in a smart-ass comment? Had that been the moment? Had she really flirted with him in the deluded hope that he would pick up on it and react?
She knew the answers of course.
Damn him! This was all his fault! They were supposed to have been nothing more than partners on a mission - a collaboration between the Autobots and the EDC as a gesture of good will. It had all been so simple in theory, but he just had to be so damned charming. She knew he’d been on good terms with her late grandfather, and then she had realized why the old man had spoken so highly of him. He truly was the type of guy any girl would want to bring home to the parents - he was smart, funny, brave, a true gentleman.
Except, he wasn’t a man, not really....
