Speech Tournament
So, we went to a tourny in McMinnville (the place of satan) yesterday, and it was jolly fun!
Kourtnie and I went to finals with our Piece from Mel Brooks' "The Producers". We didn't place, but I was quite proud of us, considering it was a huge tournament.
I AM EXHAUSTED.
Think of it this way:
We get up at 5am, go to the tournament, and start competing at 8. We basically compete UNTIL 8, if you make it to finals (which we did.) Then you sit around during awards (maybe...an hour) and than we stopped to eat. We finally got home at MIDNIGHT. That's a long ass time. 5am-12am. Gah! Mentally, physically, and at times, emotionally draining!
I figured I'd be good to go to work the next day at noon, (I got 10 hours of sleep!) but I was completely exhausted all through my shift. It's the kind of tired where your eyes kind start to glaze over...Terrible terrible.
I'm considering renting "Napolean Dynomite" today, but I'm not sure...
