My weekend

WOW!!!! What a weekend. I left Friday night after work and made my way to see Kristina at Grand Valley. I decided that I would make the trip by myself this time, which wasn't all that bad. I didn't get there til about 4 a.m. and when I did get there I said hello to Kristina and then crashed right away. Started the next day pretty early, Kristina had to work at 11:30 so I drove her to work downtown. So I had a few hours to kill while I waited for her to get off, so I did some laundry and some reading, which I'm almost done with, can't wait to start the next one. I got to Kristina's work at about 2:30 and she made me a very good sandwich. After that we went back and she got ready so we could leave to go see Ian at Kalamazoo College, which was about an hour drive south. During the drive we went through hail, sleet, snow, and rain all within 20 minutes of driving, even though the drive started off very sunny and calm. When we got there we all decided to get some food at Jimmy Johns which was really good like always. Later when Ian's roommate Tim showed up we all helped them move everything around so they could settle in. Then to celebrate we got some drinks cause Tim was 21 so that was cool. Then Kris and I made the trip back after I was feeling better of course and then got home and crashed right away. I slept in til about 1 finally being woke up by both Kris and Deb, they both wanted to leave so we could go to the lake. It was such a nice day out, a little chilly but still beautiful. We drove to the city of Grand Haven, unfortunately it was Sunday cause everything was closed but we did find one place to eat, which wasn't too bad. Then we left to head to the pier, got some nice pics down there too. Then the real fun began after that. We made our way to the Rosy Mound Dunes. It was quite the hike to the shore, but it was well worth it, the sights were amazing and when we finally did get to the lake it was such a great view of everything. We walked down to the beach and I decided that I would write in huge letters across the beach "HELLO UP THERE!" I thought it was pretty funny cause as we were leaving a bunch of people started making there way down and they were all pointing at it like it was the big attraction of the lake, it was awesome. Then the day came to an end after all of us being completely exhausted we made our way home. I was gonna leave early but then I just couldn't get up being so tired I didn't leave til around 11. As I was making my way home I decided to make a little detour into Ann Arbor to see Nicole. And WOW, quite the night it turned out to be. We first made our way to Meijer so Nicole could get some very healthy food with the exception of 4 meals of Mac n' Cheese, haha. We also got a new book to read. Then after Meijer I was feeling hungry and so was Nicole so we decided to eat at Denny's our usual choice at 2 in the morning. Well quite the choice this turned out to be. As Nicole and I our eating our food a rush starts coming in, I'm guessing the late night club rush. And as a bunch of people start walking in there was this confrontation at the front door between these two guys. Well each of them seemed to roll with a big crowd cause in an instant one punch was thrown and BAAMM!! A brawl breaks out in the middle of Denny's no more than five feet from where we were sitting. Glasses were being thrown along with a whole bunch of other stuff, I quickly grabbed my phone and called the police and as I told them what was happening there were already on there way. They didn't arrive til after the whole thing broke up and the cops showed up but I later found out that during the whole thing one of the guys had a gun on him and was about to pull it out good thing he didn't, plus there was this girl who got hurt, I guess a cut on her face but luckily that's all who got hurt. After the whole ordeal our meal was on the house but we left a tip anyway. Then I dropped Nicole off, helped her bring her groceries up to her room and then made my way home, and which now I'm off to bed, until next time, I'm out.
