yay! I got the free stickers I sent for from Diesel Sweeties Monday. I got 1 of the Personal Robot Jesus sticker (I just call it the R2-D2) and 3 of the I'm a Rocker stickers, which is more than I expected :) I totally forgot about it since I sent the envelope months ago, so it was a nice surprise.
Trader Joe's butter waffle cookie and 100 calories chocolate graham toucan cookies are yum. The former has quite a lot of saturated fat though :(
Smack (Leonard) and his girlie (Jennifer) came to visit us Friday. we met up at the outlet mall in Camarillo after work, and we drove up after shopping and dinner. I got a bunch of solid tops at GAP, plus some other cute stuff. I didn't feel as bad about all the shopping, since we got coupons off of their website :) we picked up Szeto (Jon) at the SB Amtrak station next morning and looked around downtown a bit, then we headed to our wine tasting tour. we started with lunch at Cold Spring Tavern, and I had a very yummy ham/bacon/turkey/spinach quiche. we then went to Gainey, Sunstone, and Rideau, where I picked up a bottle of 2004 Riesling. we walked around Solvang a bit before our dinner at the Hitching Post. the iced cinnamon bread we got at Olsen's bakery was good, and we'll probably be back to pick up other baked goods next time we're around :D
one problem though... what am I going to do with all these extra wine glasses? :/
