lots of traveling
so I should've posted this last week, but there were all types of distractions the last few days. Odi and I bought some fruits (tangerines, peaches, and strawberries) at tri-county produce drove down to LA last Thursday to visit Curby and his dad. his dad broke his hip on the first day of their vacation, so they were stuck in London for 20 days. we had to work with their schedule since Curby's dad had a doctor appointment, but we managed to hang out for a bit, had Korean BBQ for dinner, then went to in n out for milkshakes. I miss the days when we used to hang out all the time :(
I saw these pants at ANGL with Chinese writing on the back, and it was something about peace (or love, don't remember). now most folks know that I'm not fond of those styles, and those pants definitely remind me of Hanzi Smatter. I told Odi "if I'm going to buy pants like that, I'd rather have it say 'this is my ass.'" :P
I was running around LA with Odi and his parents yesterday to take care of banking stuff for Odi's aunt, who's in the Philippines and has leukemia. I had to "hang out" and shop alone with Odi's mom for some of the time, but I lived :O I managed to buy some groceries and foodstuff :)
I just used the VS gift card that Fiona and Angela got me (they got Odi a circuit city one), and I probably spent more money than I should. I'll be feeling guilty for a while (probably until I see the next thing I want to buy O.o)
p.s.: Odi took me to 鼎泰豐 for 小籠包, and it was pretty good :)
