So after giving up on the whole personalized plate thing for the
Bay Area special license plate, I finally gave up and just got one of the sequential numbered ones. It's not too big of a problem since I still can't remember my current license plate past the first 4 characters without looking, but it'd be nice if I can get a number that's interesting like a prime number or a power of 2; Otherwise, I hope it's at least even. I've had a thing for even numbers ever since I was little... come to think of it, I was slightly obsessive about having even numbers of things like candies, and I'd chew half of it on one side of my mouth and half on the other. I guess nerdiness starts early :O
Speaking of my car and nerdiness,
bumper stickers really aren't as funny when you have to explain them. One of Odi's coworkers thought that the second one meant the car rolling/flipping from an accident... I'm not a D&D fan and even I get it (and liked it enough to put it on my car.) *sigh*
On the nerdy note, Odi and I watched
the second Futurama movie, then watched it again with the commentary on... it's the first movie where we actually watched the commentary, and I totally wouldn't have noticed Hermes wearing a kilt without it :D I saw both Futurama movies for sale at Costco, but since Odi and I rarely watch movies we've already watched we usually just rent DVDs. There are exceptions like Odi's collection of Star Trek movies (nerd), so maybe I'll get the set when all 4 movies are out. Anyway, how can you pass on a movie with a giant tentacle monster and a robot pirate ship?
Before I go, I promised
okram2k that I'd pimp out his
webcomic LJ feed (which I created, *ahem*) once he gets images in, so there you go. I'm now all caught up with the archive, plus any future comics will be delivered to me via my friends list. Yay!
