The canadian army is laughable. Just thinking about it... I'm embarrassed...
We have the WORST weaponery (does it spell that way?) and OMG we are so ridiculous on the international scene. Of course, the canadian army sets up mostly for peace missions (like in Haiti or Israel), but it's no reason to buy such crappy equipments! I mean, ten years ago, we bought submarines from the english army, but the stupid machines were so wrecked up they didn't even make the trip here! And I won't even mention all the helicopters who lose so many screws and parts that they are actually lethal due to their poor state...
But now... now we've reached the ultimate level of stupidity.
A canadian soldier was on a plane above Egypt with two french soldiers when (surprise!) the plane got a mechanical problem and was forced to do an emergency landing. Doing so, they crashed in a car truck that was rolling... in the desert. SO FUCKING USELESS. You are in the middle of the DESERT, and you manage to hit the ONLY stupid car there? The canadian soldier actually DIED. My god. I don't know whether I should laugh or cry. Now THAT'S why we never go to war. God. Imagine the massacre.
