Keep cool
OMGsofreakingcold.
I am a strong believer in being active in the fight against global warming and I am not oblivious to the signs that our planet is REALLY in danger, but GOD these days I wonder if our province is really on the earth. -35 C (-30 F) omfgsocold my ears might fall down! The windows in my appartment are totally opaque because of the ice and my cat looks at me like I am demented when I offer her to go outside. The cars won't even start in the morning (except mine, a 1991 Toyota... lol who's laughing NOW???) and noses are turning white (beyond the phase when they turn pink).
Yeah well I can whine all I want, I still enjoy living in this freaking polar place. And I am relieved to see that we are actually going to have a decent winter. We almost didn't get any snow at christmas. Plus, hot chocolate mugs in my pyjamas watching tv is even more enjoyable. I can stay home and watch the news wondering about the sanity of the people who go skiing these days. Tourists.
Maybe that's why the men in this province go totally insane when spring arrives. We barely see each other during the winter (mainly due to the fact that everyone wears scraves, hats and huge coats) and we are all covered-up so when the see a skirt in may, wooot! It is funny how they seem overwhelmed, really.
Now it is time for my fifth hot beverage of the day.
