beautiful morning.
today we went to clingmans dome to watch the sunrise. it was so pretty. we thought we would miss it if we went all the way up to the top, so we watched part of it from the parking lot (which was still lovely) and then the rest from the observation deck. it was such a good morning. after that we went to a hotel that had a breakfast buffet and pretended we were staying there. probably one of the best things we've done since we've lived in this hotel ridden town.
oh, and we also drove through the newly repaved motor nature trail. we didn't see any creatures, with the exception of two scurrying chipmunks which were very cute.
