since its been awhile.....

well i handed in my visa application for rome. im leaving in about 7 weeks. im a little bit freaked out and a lot excited. its going to be amazing. i just have a feeling. im really looking forward to it.
im pretty much ready to be done with working. its not a bad job, just frustrating. they really dont treat me with a lot of respect sometimes. most of the time its ok. but certain times its just not alright. and it has occasionally affected my work. but whatever. im going part time for the month of july and then im done till next january.
classes start in a couple of days. just two joke sociology classes. should be a cake walk. birthday is in less than 2 weeks. 21 here i come! im so excited. just to finally be able to go out with my friends when i want to instead of always being left behind. so itll be a week of partying between classes and work for the big day. im fucking pumped.
my house has a new septic system, not a huge deal but it brings us one step closer to moving out, now we just have to get the new roof, paint the spare bedroom and upstairs bathroom and were pretty much ready to move. im ready to leave limerick. i already have basically.
i think a friend of mine has a problem with alcohol and prescription drugs and i wouldnt be surprised if her coke habit is back again. im really worried about her. and to make matters worse, she refuses to talk about and has been lying to people about it. she was mugged only a few months ago while she was drunk and fucked up on who knows what drugs. apparently the lesson didnt sink in. its sad really. i worry about what will happen to her now. hopefully she will realize it soon and get the help she needs. i can only hope. i cant save her, she has to save herself.
there isnt much new really. went to a serious redneck wedding on the 17th and had a ball. mom had a couple of teeth knocked out in a freak accident, but thankfully shes got temp crowns now till she can get new ones. so thats good. theyre still crazy. but thats ok.
i dont have much to report. life has been pretty quiet lately and i like that. my roommate margaux is fabulous and i absolutely adore her, i so wish i had more time to hang out with her, but i will when i get back to the states from rome. ROME!!!!!!
