Heart soars to music
I'm no musician, but an eclectic appreciator is me! This afternoon i have listened to so much goodness on vinyl, and all of it so widely varying too. Thank goodness my parents gave me one of their record players! Those platters were long neglected. I love the way music can echo your mood, change, or enhance it. This morning i happen to be in an awesome mood, and everything i listen to is just making me feel even better! i am in love and my heart is soaring.
Here is some of what i have listened to this morning so far from my itty-bitty vinyl collection:
Love and Rockets - Earth Sun Moon
Stephen TinTin Duffy - the Ups and Downs
Jethro Tull - Heavy Horses
(and currently:) Steeleye Span - Hark! The Village Wait
I have about another hour in which to play more Tetris and listen to music, yeah so guess what i'll be doing? ;) I think i'm going to listen to one of my Tenpole Tudor albums next. For those of you not in the know, Tenpole Tudor is hilarious...have me play them for you sometime.
Does anyone want to come over tonight to play Tetris and listen to records? I could pretty much do this for like a week straight.
