For what it's worth, while things are rought this time of the year, I'm happy to see you updating. We've all been through times when we don't feel like updating. It's ok.

As for the sickness, yeah, EVERYONE is sick these days. Somehow I've managed to dodge the bullett so far (knock wood). I played cards with some friends last weekend and the guy on my right did the dracula cough all fucking night, except he missed his arm once and I got a nice gust of his cough go across my face. Ugh.

That is one of my BIGGEST pet peeves about coughing and sneezing...i've actually been coughed on by my boyfriend from all the way across the room. Mind you, it was just an accident, a cough caught him by surprise and he didn't cover his mouth in time, then a second later my arm and face were showered by multiple droplets. EW. So yeah i am crossing my fingers for you that you don't catch whatever it is that's going around!!

I've also had a lot of good stuff going on, but i don't know, for whatever reason i haven't really felt inspired to write. Sometimes journaling feels constructive, but other times kind of regurgitory.

PS? Your last name sounds like 'elven veld' to me.:)

Ooh, that is cool. It is Dutch, and the closest translation we know of for it means something along the lines of "Of the Field" but not in any modern Dutch anyway. Although that sounds fairly elven i am sure they meant that in a more farmerly sense. I've been to the "village" of Eleveld...it is literally 6 little houses with barns and farm fields, that is all.
