I know, I know, it's been forever... I just had to post this...
Amy just told me that the passing score has been lowered, yet again, for the MSA (Middle School Assessment) exams for this year in Baltimore City. Originally, it was supposed to be 70, but they lowered it to 60.
Now it's 33.
Thirty-freakin-three.
And kids are mandated to use calculators that do everything for you but make your lunch.
Someone wanna try to convince us not to move once she finishes this year? I can't even take this crap, and I don't teach in BCPSS!
