Fall '08 Semester turnout
Teaching was great. I hope next semester turns out as well as this one did, with a good, attentive class and all.
Now, as far as the classes I took:
Anyway, Christmastime is here. I'm looking forward to the holiday and spending time with family and friends... including one with particularly prominent cheekbones.
Now, as far as the classes I took:
- Latin-American Short Story - B+. I'm not too surprised, as my quiz average wasn't that great in there. I must not have done as well as I hoped on my final paper and exam though.
- Cultural Movements in Latin America - A-. No complaints here, I guess...
- Advanced Spanish Translation - A. Not bad considering (1) it was an online course, my Achilles heel... and (2) the instructor disappeared midway through the semester, only to come back during the second-to-last week and give us work. He won't be back.
