I'm in the Sci Li on the 7th floor, attempting to write about John Eliot's efforts to convert the Natick Indians. While this is actually a subject that interests me, I keep finding myself on the Mucinex website ("you'll be showing Mr. Mucus the door in no time!") and obsessively stalking Facebook in order to stave off the feeling that I am in a bad horror film. It's dark and eerily quiet up here, and any sound just seems about a thousand times eerier up here. I heard some faint shuffling footsteps down one of the aisles and became convinced (momentarily) that it was some sort of science zombie coming to get me, but it turned out to just be an unassuming Asian girl looking for a nuclear physics textbook.
