Bar the whole Rose Thing (Bleeeeeech. It's not that I'm anti-Rose, it's just that the whole dynamic of the Doctor/Rose ship as portrayed 15 minutes ago irritates the shit out of me) that was nifty. As soon as I've given it a bit of thought, I'm sure it'll irritate the hell out of me (no branch of science Works Like That!) , but right now, I'm not even angry about Donna - it's truly tragic and played that way. I hope that her sacrifice has a longer lasting effect on the Doctor than anyone else (and given the reaction people in the Doctor's far future have to her, I'll be deeply pissy if it doesn't).

(Also, Somebody needs to mention the Doctor to her, so she can regenerate as she should. It would negate the strength of her sacrifice, her tragedy, but that would be countered by the awesome)

(Alsoalso: Martha and Mickey in Torchwood? I can go for that. He's no Tosh, but Mickey's proven himself to be a damn good mechanic and computer guy. Be interesting to see how the dynamic changes if he does join. Suspect it'll be less serious. Though, I don't know if I want Martha in Torchwood fulltime - she's got some serious rank and pull in UNIT, and would be taking a big cut to join Torchwood. Also, keeping her in UNIT offers more chance to come back to the main series as a guest star)

Badly paraphrased from Confidential:
"It's great that Martha feels capable of doing everthing herself, she's her own team" - That's one of the things I love most about Martha, particularly post-Doctor. She loves the Doctor, and loves traveling with him, but she doesn't need him, doesn't need anyone but herself. She's complete in and of herself, whereas Rose isn't complete without someone else. And that annoys me.
