I'm not sure that's true. The one thing I heard that I've thought could be true was that when you were doing a lot of sports like either bicycle or horse riding, the hymen could be thinner than for other girls, or even break. Other than that....

I still think you should go to the doctor though, even though you hate it...

I'm hoping it's not. Well, wait a minute...no, I'd rather have it be true than have something horribly wrong with me. I guess. I am going to go to the doctors in a couple days and yeah, I freaking hate it!

Oh, I know! I know now. Usually, the biggest gripe I have regarding female stuff is shelling out for supplies, this month I got the whole deal worse than I ever have in my life! Gah!, a couple days ago I was really pissy and noticed that Jayson had gone shopping and all he bought was pork (that I saw in the fridge, there was beef too but I didn't see it). I freaked out and thought to myself "I can't eat pig!! He spends my money on things I don't even eat" (we alternate pay cycles and whoever has time to shop just takes the others bank card). Anyhow, I just got in the shower and angrily got ready for work. When I got out of the shower I uncontrollably fell to the floor in tears because my body had decided that the bedroom floor would be a really great place to cry hysterically for no reason whatsoever. Of course, being on my fourth 12 hour shift in a row that day and dead tired, I fell asleep. Yeah, was not surprised at all when I got up and realised that my time had started. INSANE! I normally don't even notice, but this month it was ( ... )

"well, consider yourself lucky that all this time you've had it pretty easy!"

I do!

Oh man, not only does that sound unpleasant for the body, but another toll on what I assume is your already cluttered mind. It's definitely not helping, and if there were anything I could do to help I surely would. But yes, I suggest and ER visit :/

I'm going to go see my doctor in a couple of days (when it's not yicky). I called the provincial telehealth nurse who asked me a whole bunch of questions to rule out anything that would require me going to the hospital. I'm ok, just really confused and sore is all :)

Wow, sorry to read this. I sure hope things turn out okay when you visit the doctor.

Me too, I'm a bit concerned because the nurse kept asking me if I had been raped and said stuff about sometimes a woman's body goes into shock, etc. etc. Bleh, I dunno, maybe ladies do have to be careful. Sucks :( I bet Ellen Ripley never had to deal with this crap!

It's not true. I promise. You have to remember that there are millions of women who tax themselves, deprive themselves of sleep, do hard labor - and always have. They're called mothers, peasants, soldiers...

And you definitely need to get to a doctor. This isn't normal and it's not right. I hate 'em too, but when your body does something like that...well, it's telling you something huge.

You wouldn't keep driving your car after you've blown a rod just because your car doesn't like your mechanic. Same damn thing.

Oh Yaaaay! Yaaaaay! See, I figured you would know for sure! I didn't really talk to the nurse about that for too long (because she kept asking me if I had been raped) but I was like wtf? shock? my body will really do that?! I'll find out more Tuesday Argh! I gotta get a pelvic exam done :(
Also, Adam Sandlers 'ode to my car' went through my mind when I read your last sentence ;)

Yeah. The nurse's focus on rape was really off-putting for me to read, so I can only begin to imagine how off-putting it was to experience.

I can't believe you have to wait until Tuesday. That's absurd. For something like this here in the states, you'd either go to ER or see your MD the very next day.

LOL! I'd forgotten about that Sandler bit...

Yeah, I think she kept doing it because I guess most women won't say anything if they were? I could just go to emergency right now if I wanted to...again...the whole hate the doctors/hospital thing. We also have walk in clinics but I'm not sure I want a stranger doing a pelvic exam on me. Oh, did I mention that's what's got to be done for sure? Yeah, I set the appointment for Tuesday for everyone's benefit ;) Also, I have to go to the dentist tomorrow so that's enough suckage for the immediate future :(

p.s. The nurse did say it would be a different story if I were sexually active or could be pregnant.
