If you've been wondering why 2011 seems to be the same bullshit rut that 2010 was so far, that's because the actual lunar new year (a.k.a Chinese new year) starts today. I'm not Chinese, but I'm all about the influence of the moon. Actually, it's lunisolar and it's now the year of the Rabbit. I'm a rabbit..and very excited this year. This year, I can finally get some shit done!
I haven't much time, so a quick update while Brad is napping:
Good News: I went to the dentist and my tooth is fine! It's not as bad as I thought because the hole was not new, it's just that the entire filling had fallen out (it was hard to see that though as I was awkwardly holding a mirror inside my mouth and looking at the reflection of that in the bathroom mirror). Ok, ok, I'm guilty of a freak out.
Bad news:The x ray revealed a second cavity beginning in the same tooth so I had to have that drilled and filled as well. I still have to go back because there wasn't time to check the rest of my teeth (which I was told have a high chance of having more cavities as I'm "obviously" not flossing)
Good news: David is engaged to be married.
Bad news: He still took a shot in his blog entry announcing it though. Meh, hopefully she can help him.
Good News: Brad is visiting from Windsor and is proving to be quite a fun house guest.
Bad News:I'm sharing my bed with Jayson to make room for Brad and have to endure his 4000db snoring! The never ending snoooooring! ( <- sung in my mind to the tune of 'the never ending story'..over and over again whilst angrily trying my very hardest to block it out and get to sleep)
Bad news: The interview for the position I was hoping and praying to get was canceled :(
Good news: I was sent an email assuring me it was due to the weather and they would re-schedule soon.
Good news: Apparently 'ye olde thinkpad" was not killed by gNewSense
Bad news: The hard drive is fuct
Good news: We're all going to Rockies tonight!
Bad news: I have to get in the shower now and I don't want to get up because McMahon is adorably curled up with her head resting on my feet.
