All these science vs mysticism shows I've been watching - I Origins, OA, Dr Strange, Leftovers, etc. etc. - what it's pointing me to... and what Star Trek reminded me of, is that I am not going to live a life that is "spiritual" or "mystical" but one that is principled. A principled life like the life of Picard, like of Marcus Aurelius, like of myself when I am aware of myself in the present as consciousness. What I know then is that I am not living within any belief system, particularly not the spiritual one... but am I living in opposition to it. I simply having nothing to do with it and that's how I like it. It's Hollywood preying on susceptibilities of the human mind as usual...
