Today is the day

I dropped Jazzy off a college this morning. I got nervous at first because yet another young vet that we hadn't met before greeted us. Then Dr Da Costa - head neurologist came out to talk to me. He was very patient, didn't rush me, considered all of my questions and answered all of them. I feel better about that aspect. He is fairly sure he will find something but tried to reassure me that it might not be as horrible as I think. He explained that they may do a spinal tap while she is under. I agreed but after this if they don't find anything then I will go into wait and see mode.

I had to do another late night web search on lymphoma. I didn't consider this before but I got a reply from the energy practitioner that it is a possibility. Then I read the notes from the communicators and terrified myself. However, both had mentioned they thought whatever it is that is bothering her that she will get through it and move on. The first guy mentioned a knot behind her ear canal. The second mentioned pain in several areas over her body - but none where I would thing a lymph node would be. She is significantly sore in front of her neck but I am hoping that just means the pharyngeal cyst/benign tumor thing.

The number 6 popped into my head on several occasions when I tried to imagine how long we will be together. Hopefully that's 6 more years and not a sum total of 6 yrs. I have no idea whether there is anything to this or not.

Ah, I remember my other question and that was whether or not they were still sending updates to my vet.
