g - in which hyukjae most probably did something stupid and apologises
"I'm sorry."
It comes out soft. Softer than Hyukjae expects but he's too embarrassed to say it again.
Hankyung turns round and his eyes crinkles into a smile.
"What are you being sorry for, Hyukjae?"
Hyukjae shrugs his thin shoulders, covered by a long sleeved pajama top, and Hankyung nearly misses the tear that slips down his cheek.
"Hyung... I'm sorry. Just... I'm sorry, okay?" He catches a stray tear and clumsily wipes it off his face and sniffs loudly, right before he lets out a huge sob and buries his face into his palms.
Hankyung smiles a little and moves forward, prying Hyukjae's hands away from his face. "Why is he so cute," he thinks, and proceeds to pinch Hyukjae's nose and he says aloud, "Why are you so cute, Hyukjae. Why?"
The younger boy looks up and he half whispers, "I'm sorry, hyung." and buries his face into Hankyung's neck. And Hankyung feels the tears dripping, and he can't help it. Can't help it and he starts tearing up.
He swears under his breath and gathers Hyukjae into his arms and he hears a soft "Hyung, I love you. Never leave. Never leave..." against his neck. And it heaves. And Hankyung sighs into Hyukjae's hair.
"I won't leave. I never will."
"......I'm sorry, hyung..."
...I don't even know. I'm just sorry.
