Getting away with it, getting away with it, getting away with it!
I've totally flaked on Humanities this semester. I haven't read a page of the textbooks, literally have just played on my computer every lecture, can't remember a thing from any of the presentations, flaked out of a few classes, etc, etc. The extent of it is really disturbing.
I read the spark notes to the books students presented on and skimmed some free class notes the night before the midterm. Day of, I made reference to the Ninja Turtles and referred to "Michealangelo's Last Supper" (Leonardo, duh), and made some blatantly incorrect statement about Voltaire. Got an A.
My class participation is still held in high regard, and I won't be docked 10% for attendance unless I miss another class. I am in higher standing than last semester, when I had actually read most all the books. Oh so sweet. Lets not miss any more classes!
