Lightning!
I love Vancouver, it's so tropical. I know you guys who've lived here forever don't find it magical like I do, but damn is it ever. It's damply haunted like New Orleans was, but here all the ghosts are made of glass and clouds. And electricity, because just five minutes ago while doing the yoga that will not do a damn thing for my hypoglycemia, but still feels good anyway...

And I'm allowed to squee all over this because we NEVER get lightning here. Ever ever ever. I think the last time I saw any was well over six months ago. Lightning is my element, and I never get to see it.
Anyway, I'm supposed to be a rational person and shit, but I'll take that as an omen anyway.
