Too bad shes sick :( I knew she was running a little low yesterday while we were out, but I thought she was just tired, as the trip to the wildlife place was a long one. Last night I put her down in bed and she was fine for about 30 minutes and then she woke up crying her eyes out and I went back there and tried to sooth her and noticed she was breathing funny-horribly wet sounding. There was no way she was going to be able to sleep laying flat until she got some medicine in her so I gave her some of the childrens tylenol cold and rocked her to sleep again propped up on my lap. Needless to say we had a long night. She was up at 12 because she couldnt breath and then I placed her in her swing. She came back to bed at 2, ate, slept a little propped up and then was back up at 5 where I placed her in her swing again and Jeff brought her right back to me 10 minutes later "we should give her medicine, shes sneezing and cant breath". Ok, fine, even though I want to use it as sparingly as possible, kwim? So Jeff tried to rock her to sleep and she reached for his face and he jerked a bit and it scared the shit out of her! She was crying like someone had poked her with a hot needle :( So up I got again and rocked her back to sleep, put her in her swing and went back to bed at 6.
Jeff brought her back to me at 9 wanting to give her more medicine and I said no. Its day time and I am not giving her anymore unless she absolutly needs it. She hasnt slept since 7 this morning, and we will just have to see how it goes. You can see the poor baby feels bad just by looking at her eyes.
I hate this for her. She took being sick so well last time, and I know she will this time but it breaks my heart to see her this way. The only good thing is that shes not coughing her head off like last time. Happy Half Birthday Baby!!!
