As of today, I am enrolled in cosmetology school. YAY! No, I will not be quitting art, but since art is not making me the money I'd like to have right now, I have decide to start making some money while still being creative. I've cut my family's hair for years, including my own, I've snipped away on friends, and I'm good at it. So why not get paid for it? To me, this is another branch of the arts, and I am excited as Hades right now! All of my kids are in school, I have all this time to myself, and I want to *do* something damnit. So I am!
And I tell you, it's been a good day. Everything fell into place. I snapped up the last spot in the school, I managed to get into my dr's asap, and everyone has been terribly supportive of this. I couldn't be happier!
