Conversations with Lydia
We watched that show about the Mummy head last week, and Lydia watched part of it with us before bed. We explained to her that the mummy had died a long time ago.
Well today, she was sitting on the bed with us and told us "I'm a doctor, and some people pass away."
Ok? She goes on about how she was sorry she (the mummy) had died, and that she didnt have any legs. Then she told us that sometimes people get sick and pass away, so sorry she died.
I was cracking up the entire time. Especially when she told me she had to check me out cause I was a mummy too. ROFL. No baby, I am a MOMMY not a MUMMY. I hope I have a long time before a pass away! She nodded sagely and said "uh huh, you're not done yet."
This age is so fun. She is making connections, and has some funny idea's about life. I smile a lot these days :):):)
