doeadear !!!! I hope you have a loverly day, inlaws and all ;).
I'm calmer now. Last night I just went to the bedroom after I put Lydia down. If no one felt bothered to ask me about company, I wasnt going to feel bothered to entertain said company.
So here is the deal-Brian, according to Sara, stayed out all night and didnt call her. So she "grounds" him. She doesnt sit down and talk with him about it, she just tells him that he cant go to his girlfriends house or go out period. It was two Octobers ago, when Brian was still in HS, that we had a similar problem. But instead of freaking out and "grounding" him (he was 18), we talked with him about it, told him what we expected, and all was well. Does he flub up every now and then? Of course he does, he's a Campbell and they are known for their flightiness and unpredictability. I guess if you are a Campbell dealing with a Campbell, then its like an explosion.
But, I can say this, I informed Jeff last night that next time he needs to ask me how I feel about it, because last night I was having a cold setback and felt like SHIT. Not to mention, this is my house too. And really, how does Sara intend to enforce her "grounding" over here? I'm not on board with this, and I am going to talk to Brian when he gets up. But if she thinks she's going to call over here randomly at night to make sure Brian is abiding by her stupid grounding she has another thing coming. I know, I married Jeff and his ex is part of that equation, but I can only put up with so much before something must be said.
Anyways. Morning two went off without a hitch. I only waited 20 minutes before coming out and she didnt mention the boobies at all. She also slept later today-till 6:30. She seems to do that more often on days when Jason is here, though I dont know why. And as was briefly mentioned before, I had a setback yesterday. Horrible coughing, it took a dose of Robitussin and a dose of Nyquil last night to stop it. I have this horrible layer of mucus in the back of my throat that will. not. go. away. Play date fell through yesterday, rescheduled for today. If I dont stop coughing though, its probably going to fall through again.
