Tofurky Day
Merry Thanksgivingus! ;P
Today will be my first time cooking a Thanksgivingus Feast, and its for a total of three people and a munchkin. :( I wish my mom was up to just coming over. I even invited Irene (mil) but she said she probably wouldnt come because she had to work late yesterday (meaning like 6 pm. WTF) she is just weird.
Anyways. Yesterday I took Lydia over to Pete and Irenes and let him watch her for a couple of hours so I could clean out her toys. It took the whole two hours, too. When I dropped her off I told her good bye and she whined for about 30 seconds, gave me a kiss and then ran off to play. Thats a good sign, right? When I got home I got right to it, and I should have taken a picture of my livingroom in the middle of it, there were piles of toys everywhere. It looked like a KB's exploded, as Jeff put it. But when all was said and done there were only half of her toys left and my livingroom looks bigger. The toys will be gone on Friday.
Poor Lydia has blisters on her gums where her molars are trying to come through. I think she has been handling it pretty well, but she doesnt want to eat much and sometimes she takes fits. I hope those buggers come through soon. She's also started waking up every night again. Yay for me.
So I guess I will start cooking around 2. That means everything should be done by around 5. Thats if I dont fuck it up, though lol. I told Jeff that we should say a prayer before we eat, starting with "To Whom It May Concern" ;D Ahhh, my whacky sense of humor ;P
