(no subject)
Ahhhh, today. Lydia had a rough night last night. She woke up at 5:45 (as per usual now) this morning and I had Jeff get up with her at 6:15 and I got up 7:40. I had plans of going to the gym, but they failed. I was coughing rather hard this morning and my calves still feel like someone punched them. So instead I went and got the stuff to make a two layer pinapple upside down cake for dessert tonight at Tanya and Michaels.
Came back, ate lunch and put wee butt to bed and watched some Dreamscapes until she woke up and then I went to make the cake. All went well until I put them in the oven. I was on the phone with Heather and I didnt pay attention as to which later was which. So I showered, took them out and fucked up. I thought the bottom layer was on the right and i was wrong. So I took the top layer out first and thought "well I will put it back in the pan and all will be well", so I pulled the bottom one out-perfecto!-and then went to put the top on. Thats when things went to shit. As soon as I tried to lay it on top it fell apart. GAAAAHHHHHH. I was so pissed. My beautiful cake, ruined! I ranted and raved for a bit, tried to fix it, and then said fuck it. I tried a bite and it was sooooo good. I wanted to cry.
But we got ready, went to the grocery store to get an impromptu cake and then to Tanya and Michaels. We had a good time :) Dinner was spaghetti and meatballs and it was magnifico! The kids had fun running around and playing but Lydia still isnt used to stairs. When we were upstairs on the ground floor Lydia tried to climb the steps and I got her and told her no. Well, when Avery and Maddy started going upstairs Lydia went to the bottom of the steps and said really loud "NO NO NO NO NOOOOO!" She wouldnt climb the stairs herself, lol, she insisted on telling them no, though. :P
We came home around 8 and Lydia fell into bed soon after. I myself, am about to go too. We just got done watching Dexter and I am pooped out.
Oh, and today I couldnt get on here at all. Totally sucked. I am far too addicted to LJ.
