This morning I got up, started my pork roast, and went to the Coomes (cs?) Center and joined their "gym". They have a daycare program in the mornings for 3 dollars a week, and Tanya and Avery go there. So today was Lydias first day spending time away from both her parents for a significant amount of time. It went well for about 30 minutes. *sigh* We will try again tomorrow, and the next day and the next and the next after that until she is over it. I'm hopeful.
But since she didnt last long we decided to go shopping. We went to the Small Change store and I got Lydia a cute sparkly outfit for a dollar, then WalMart and then I took Tanya to the candle shop where I expected to get my two candles and the 11th free. Uh uh. They changed it. Buy TWELVE and get one free. I was ticked. I wanted all three of the candles I picked out so I bought them (grumbling) and Tanya threw her candle onto my account so I got to pick another candle for free but I was still ticked. You shouldnt get to change the rules at the end of the friggin game. The next time the owner is working I am going to have a talk with her about that because the last time I was in she told me "two more and you get a free one!" Ummm. Liar :P
When we came home I found an End of False Religions pamphlet stuck in my door. I laughed so hard imagining the JW's walking up my drive while the alien stared them down. Its an interesting little pamphlet, something about harlots and dragons and such. I wish I had been here. You know my ranting about how all the Jesus freaks seem to pass us by. I told Tanya God will tsk tsk them for that when they get to heaven since they didnt try hard enough to save our souls ;P.
I tried to watch Nacho Libre during Lydias nap but I couldnt get into it. After her nap we went and saw Papaw Pete and then to the pumkin place and to Kmart where I bought Over the Hedge (because its so damn funny), a new Baby E video and Nightmares and Dreamscapes from Stephen King. Cant wait to watch those!
Oh, and we went over to Tanya's yesterday and ohhhhh her house. Its soooo nice, and BIG! Three levels, and I think our entire house could fit on the first level lol-not that hers is overly big but ours is overly tiny :P. There are hardwood floors on the first level and the kids can ride their trikes around in a circle. The top floor has the bedroom and her master is HUGE. I was so envious lol. They have a papazan in the bedroom-I want it baaad! Her bottom level is a giant playroom and Lydia was in heaven with all the toys. She has everything Lydia could want-a kitchen a castle, a seperate TV for special stuff, and a GIANT BIG SCREEN- you should see Dora on the big screen. Hell, you should see the giant Oobie on the big screen LOL. It was, again, fun! I swear its like having an old friend and just catching up on things that have happened. I wonder if we will ever run out of things to talk about!
Tonight Lyida has been, interesting :) Right before her bath she crawled up in my lap and I rocked her and sang "Didnt Leave Nobody But the Baby" as she crooned along. It was very sweet.
So anyways, every one who reads this, please cross your fingers that wee butt takes to the nursery better tomorrow. She needs this and so do I. (can you believe I didnt cry? I wanted to though :P) Ok, off to watch Jericho and then get wee butt in bed. Jeffs giving her her bath and the solitude is nice.
