Beth and Jeff, how does thy Garden grow?

Been gone all day from here! It stormed last night, it was amazing to listen too, but it kept me awake. It has been raining a lot this past week, which is good for the plants and the garden. I dont think I have had to water my herbs for two weeks. And they are doing awesome, btw. They smell so good. Of course the basils are doing the best, the thyme is growing well too. It wont be long before I can plant all of them in the ground. And our garden is going well too! Jeff took cd circle covers and covered most of the plants and the lettuce and ptoatoes are getting huge. However, the pepper plants are doing as well and we might have to replant some starter plants. The groundhog, as far as we know, hasnt gotten back in to the garden yet, but with Jeff covering most things it doesnt really matter lol.

Yesterday Brutus, a Boxer that lives a couple of "blocks" over followed Jeff and Lydia home from their walk. He wanted to play with the cats, and Romeo was agging him on. It was quite hilarious. Esp since Brutus knows no commands and thought we were playing everytime we tried to get him to leave the yard. Lydia loved it though. She kept saying "bow bow!bow bow!"-her word for puppy.

Speaking of things Lydia says, she says lots of things now.  She says bless you and thank you, nite nite and bye bye, mama, dada, kitkat (for kitty cat), get-to the cats, ba'oon for balloon, bat for bath, ish for fish, bow bow for dog or puppy and I love you. She puts two word sentences together, mostly bye bye mama or dada, nite nite mama or dada, and she will say I love you mama or dada. But I love the "bad mama" that she says when she is mad at me lol. She also "baaaaas" whenever we pass the neighbours house with the goat. And now that she is forward facing in her car seat she recognizing landmarks better. Whenever we get close to Jeffs work she stars going "dada  dada dada!"  And gets horribly upset if we pass it by or go somewhere near by, like the candle shop or Wallies. She also knows when we get close to home too, which has made things a bit calmer on rides home.

The Celtic Lullabies seems to be right up her ally. She fell asleep well last night, for both naps today and for bedtime tonight. Its not nearly as loud as Regina Spektor, and in fact I can barely hear it over the monitor. That will take some getting used to but in time I know I will sleep better. Oh, and her Dora chair that I got her-she LOVES. She sits in it like a throne lol, just like the little Empress she is!

Oh, and we got a letter from Second Harvest yesterday. We donate to them every year, but I was not aware that they also do fresh fruit and veggies, and nonperishables. I am going to call them on Monday and see if maybe if we have an overflow of veggies like the squash and tomatoes like last year if we could donate them. Last year we has soooooo many extras! And just from two zuchinni and yellow squash, and then like 10 tomatoe plants. I would love to give some of them away to people who otherwise couldnt buy them, especially organics!

Ok goodnight everone, ya'll need to update :P
