Summary: A quiet night at the house...
Notes/Comments: This is
hyouryuu_wa's Kiyoharu again, and my Kazuki. -laugh- Annnd she totally gave me a prompt for this one and I completely ignored it while writing. I got carried away. That being said... well, it's sort of...not-fluffy-yet-fluffy? o.O
The night sky was an endless blue tapestry dotted in diamond-dust stars, the steel-coil clouds drifting on the cool breeze as the nights outside Tokyo turned darker, colder, quieter. The month of September was at a close, and against all preconceptions there they were -- together. It was amusing, surprising and a host of other unfamiliar emotions that Kazuki didn't bother to name; some things were better left untampered with and this was one of them.
A blanket thrown on the ground, spread wide and comfortable hosted the two bodies lounging so lazily beneath the stars. Cigarette smoke curled lazily from the cylinder held between his fingertips as he lifted it to his lips and took a slow drag in silence. It was his brand, but they never were these days; there was something sweeter about stealing the taste of another's lips off their own cigarette -- and it was very nearly tradition for them. As was this, this laying around. It wasn't the park tonight, or a hill where a thousand possibilities of being seen might get them caught; tonight, it was their own backyard. Theirs. Together.
A low laugh left pierced lips at the thought.
"What amuses you?" The hand that entered his vision took the cigarette from him, lifting it away. The cherry-ember end glowed with a steady pulse as another drag was stolen.
From the corner of his eye, Kazuki watched the older man smoke, lips curved up at the corners. "Nothing. Everything." He didn't bother to elaborate for the moment, trusting the man to know just what he meant. He hummed a note under his breath, watching a cloud sweep by above his head. "I'm having a craving."
"Is that so?" There was the faintest note of amusement in the older man's voice. "And which of your cravings is calling now?"
Turning his head to glance at his companion, Kazuki caught Kiyoharu's gaze with his own and arched an eyebrow very slowly; his smile lingered, playful and teasing. "Maybe I should leave you to guess." One hand rose, reaching to brush fingertips against the older man's lips briefly before they fell away, tracing over the other's jaw and lower. "It's been a while."
Low laughter was his answer. "It's been quite some time since you indulged that way." Kiyoharu's hand dipped to capture Kazuki's as it slid away, fingers wrapping around a slim wrist to lift it back to his lips and holding that touch in place. "Are you missing it?" As he spoke, his words brushed against Kazuki's fingertips, his avid gaze missing nothing in the younger man's face it seemed.
Kazuki curled his fingers, coyly attempting to avoid the brush of those lips against him. "Don't pretend you aren't as well." He laughed, amused. "Though with the way you indulge, I would think you're trying to spoil me."
"Perhaps I am." Lips parted and a devious tongue lapped over the pads of Kazuki's fingertips, drawing a groan from him; he tried to tug his hand free of the older man's grip, his eyes darkening a bit when he wasn't freed.
"Evil," he accused with a laugh.
That tongue lashed out again, followed by a low chuckle at the shiver it drew from the younger brunette. "Is a king not allowed to spoil his queen?" A knowing smile was the herald of coming pleasures; plush lips dragged two fingertips into wet heat. The action drew a hiss from Kazuki and he pulled back his hand, ignoring the other man's smug smile.
He shifted, turning to press himself against the older man's side, rising up on one arm to look down at the other with eyes that were half-narrowed at the elder's shameless teasing. "I suppose that is true," he conceded, sliding one knee between Kiyoharu's as he shifted further, supporting himself above the older man as he inclined his head to brush their lips together. "Then again, the reverse," he murmured, "should also be true, don't you think?" A sly smile trailed a line of kisses over the other's jawline, his knee sliding further up between Kiyoharu's own to press against him.
The throaty groan it earned him didn't wipe the smile from the older man's face, but it didn't matter; two hands were suddenly at Kazuki's hips, dragging him down and the younger of them let out a victorious laugh as the sky melted into a sapphire-pearl blur around his head and he was turned over, dragged down beneath Kiyoharu.
Then even the laughter was silence, smothered beneath the crush of hungry lips on his own -- and Kazuki was more than glad to take his fill. It was a good night to be home in an empty house, with nothing between them.
And it didn't matter a bit if they got too loud, tonight.
This place was theirs.
