the time/smart ones.

Last night a guy came to my house ringing the doorbell incessantly at 10:00 at night to whine to my dad about the pettiest stuff ever FOR AN HOUR AND A HALF. He'd gotten into a physical fight over the temperature with his housemate and he wanted my Dad to fix it. They were talking in the living room, and Evin and I were downstairs in the family room where we'd been watching TV so we could hear it all (later on, I went into my computer room and I could *still* hear it), and it was the most hilarious thing I'd ever heard. I say hilarious because it sounded like me or Evin running up and tattling when we get in catfights (which happens perhaps once every two years). You know, the whole 'she pushed me so I *had* to scratch her' story. And my dad was so tired the entire time...I felt sorry for him because he'd been trying to go to sleep when this insane fellow comes bumbling over crying....

Oh the joys of being a pastor.

Anyhow, it was an interesting point in my night, which was otherwise full of me not sleeping.

(The youth thing tonight is from 4:30-7:30, so you guys know.)
