Okay. I'm biting the bullet and posting. Whenever it's been ages (and it's been aaaages) since I've properly posted I feel there are a thousand and one things to say and then posting just gets too daunting. So here I am posting, and I'm not saying any of the thousand and one things that I have saved up...just hello, and I'm back, and here are a couple little things about where I'm at at the moment.
I am:
~ Very excited about seeing and catching up with people in Perth
~ Sad that my veggie garden died while I was gone, in spite of being watered intermittently by my housemates (Even the well-established veggies like the corn with baby corns, the zucchini plants with baby zucchinis, and the tomatoes with green tomatoes didn't make it! Alas..)
~ Hopeful that I can nurse the sunflowers back to life
~ Gearing up for a big month in February, which will mean tutoring in a unit I haven't taught in before, getting a chunk of thesis ready for my supervisor, and getting Frankenstein (a play based on the original book, not popular culture interpretation) ready for the Blue Room by the beginning of March
~ Missing my bike that got stolen on Christmas, but excitedly thinking of names for the new bike that was waiting in my house as a surprise from Crispin when I got home :)
~ Greatly anticipating seeing Ani DiFranco play in Margaret River on Sunday with my good friend who lives in Bunbury
~ About to make my hat look Very Cool and Crazy for Helen's crazy hat picnic this arvo...
EDIT: Uh, semi-cool and crazy. Couldn't find what I was looking for and now running late for a meeting!
